i don't know how we got on this topic, but my mother told me that "back in the day" they used to kill rabbits in order to tell whether or not a woman was pregnant. no joke. i guess that's better than drowning a woman to find out whether or not she's a witch. ahhh science!http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbit_test
